9LivesData is lead by its founder, Cezary Dubnicki, PhD, who brings 20+ years of experience in an industrial R&D (Department Head at NEC Research, Senior Director at Storage Networks, VP Eng at Emphora), in management consulting (McKinsey & Co), as well as in academia (Princeton University).
Cezary is a co-author of numerous patents and research papers with 3123 independent citations verified by Google Scholar
Our senior project manager, with 10+ years of experience in development and project management in military area (air defense and radar surveillance R&D projects for the Air Force). He is a Certified Scrum Master and holds MSc in Computer Science from Warsaw University.
The company development team consists of 50 highly skilled and experienced consultants. Besides Cezary, team members worked previously in such places like Synopsys (Boston), IBM (Toronto), Andersen Consulting (Warsaw), Deloitte (Warsaw), NEC Labs (Princeton), Storage Networks (Boston) and Emphora start-up (Princeton). Many consultants also took internship positions at companies like NEC, Google, Microsoft, SUN, NVIDIA, Bloomberg, and CERN to name a few.
Among our team member one can find winners and finalists of such prestigious competitions as ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, Global Management Challenge, International Olympiad in Informatics, Central European Olympiad in Informatics, the Top Coder Open, and the Top Coder Collegiate Challenge.
Our consultants are also highly educated, with 4 holding PhD degrees and 42 with MSc in Computer Science. Many of them hold also a second advanced degree in Mathematics. 90% of our consultants are graduates of full time studies at the elite MIMUW (Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics) Department of Warsaw University. This department has been recognized as one of the top in the world in terms of quality of Computer Science education, as evidenced by multiple world-class successes of its graduates:
